Open Educational Vibes was founded in Serbia on Europe Day, 9 May 2023, with a mission to support education, mobility, youth work and digitalization.

Education

We promote lifelong learning through formal, non-formal, and informal education. Our activities include workshops, trainings, and creative events that focus on ethics, inclusion, entrepreneurship, marketing, ecology, and digital literacy. By encouraging “learning by doing,” we foster creativity, teamwork, and curiosity while promoting cultural exchange and tolerance.

Mobility

Mobility is our key part of our work, enabling individuals to broaden their perspectives, improve language and communication skills, and adapt to new environments. Through international and domestic exchanges, we help participants gain independence, resourcefulness, and valuable life skills.

Digitalization

Digitalization is another core focus. We support the development of digital skills and promote the safe use of technology, including AI tools. Our initiatives aim to enhance digital literacy, encourage the use of digital programs, and support environmentally friendly practices such as paperless operations.

Tolerance and dialogue

We also focus on promoting tolerance, interreligious dialogue, and multicultural communication. By supporting civil society values and reducing cultural barriers, we encourage respectful cooperation across different groups. Our goal is to build a community that values peace, diversity, and mutual understanding.

Ecology

Environmental awareness is promoted through sustainable practices and campaigns. We prioritize eco-friendly methods, such as using digital platforms, recycled materials, and partnerships with green-minded organizations, to raise awareness and engage the community.

Youth work

Youth work is central to our mission. We organize and participate in projects, exhibitions, seminars, performances, and exchanges to empower young people and other groups. Topics often include psychology, tolerance, interreligious dialogue, and multicultural understanding. Through these activities, we aim to boost youth participation and help them realize their potential.

Open Educational Vibes is dedicated to creating positive energy for change, especially among young people. By offering meaningful opportunities for growth and development, we aim to support individuals, strengthen communities, and contribute to a more inclusive and innovative society.

How we choose participants

No hidden criteria and no waiting in the dark. Here is exactly what happens after you apply.

  1. 1

    You apply

A short form, usually about ten questions. No CV, no references, no fee. We ask why you want to go and what you would do with it afterwards.

  2. 2

    We read every application

A real person reads each one. We are not looking for the best English or the longest list of experience — we are looking for a clear reason and someone who will follow through.

  3. 3

    A short conversation

For most projects we have a quick call. It is not an exam. It is so we can match the right people to the right project and answer your questions.

  4. 4

    You hear back

Within one to two weeks, whether the answer is yes or no. If it is no, we tell you why, and we keep your details for the next call if you want.

  5. 5

    We prepare together

If you are selected, you get an infopack and a preparation session before you travel. Nobody is sent off without knowing what to expect.
